Puffin was completely new to the Amazon ecosystem. They knew they needed to be on the platform, but they didn’t have the experience or knowledge to set up their store, protect their brand, or maximize sales potential.

Our job wasn’t just to get them listed on Amazon. It was to build their presence from the ground up, making sure that Puffin’s entry into the marketplace was smooth, strategic, and set up for long-term growth.

We started by creating Puffin’s entire presence on Amazon. From store design to product listings, we consulted on everything.  Setting up a brand on Amazon involves more than just uploading products—there’s a science to crafting the right product descriptions, selecting images, and ensuring that customers can easily find and trust the brand.

The tech stack we used to build their Amazon presence included Helium 10 and Jungle Scout.

What We Did

Amazon Launchpad

To give Puffin an edge as a new seller, we helped enroll them in Amazon Launchpad—a program designed to support brands just starting on the platform. Launchpad gave Puffin access to marketing tools that most sellers can’t use, helping them stand out early in their journey.

Amazon Vine

An item with one review is 65% more likely to be purchased than an item with no reviews, and one-third of consumers won’t buy a product without any reviews. Knowing how essential reviews are for conversion, especially for new brands, we enrolled Puffin in Amazon Vine.

Your Fast-Track to Credibility

This program allows you to send your product to trusted reviewers in exchange for authentic feedback (up to 30 reviews). It’s helpful when launching new products that have no reviews as well as accumulating more on existing products.

Storytelling Sells

Using Amazon’s Brand Story section and Premium A+ Content, we told Puffin’s story—how their drinkwear isn’t just functional but fun, designed for outdoor enthusiasts who like to add personality to their gear. This helped turn casual browsers into loyal customers.

Brand Registry

On Amazon, success can attract unwanted attention, including counterfeiters. We made sure Puffin was protected from copycats by enrolling them in Amazon’s Brand Registry. This allowed us to monitor and report any counterfeit products using Puffin’s name or images, ensuring their brand stayed safe.

Review eligibility requirements

Brands must have a registered and active text (word mark) or image-based trademark (design mark). This trademark must also appear on your products or packaging.

Sign into Amazon Brand Registry

Brand Registry applications must be submitted by trademark owners. If you meet the eligibility requirements, sign in using your existing Seller or Vendor Central credentials. Or, if you don't yet have an Amazon account, create one for create one for free.

Enroll your brand

Once you sign in, you will need to enroll your brand(s). After we have verified the information you submit during enrollment, you will be able to access Brand Registry's features to help protect your brand.

AOV (Average Order Value) FOCUS

To drive Puffin’s Average Order Value (AOV), we implemented a strategic bundling approach, pairing their top-sellers with complementary products to encourage customers to purchase multiple items in one go.

However, bundling only works if you have the inventory to back it up. We ensured that the Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) stock was always well-managed, especially during peak seasons, to prevent stockouts.

After just 3+ days of being out of stock, a product's rank can fall by 83%, and after 10 days the rank can drop by close to 150%.

Algofy AI Amazon Platform

A key factor in Puffin’s success was using our in-house Algofy AI Amazon Platform, which uses advanced algorithms to optimize ad spend and maximize visibility.

By running highly targeted ads, we were able to reach the right audience at the right time. The platform’s real-time adjustments ensured the ads were always performing at peak efficiency.

As a result, Puffin’s sales increased by 163% in the 12 months following our ad management, compared to the first year.
